Your role and what you’d be doing:
- Dive into diverse client portfolios.
- Take charge of the team’s workflow, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Lead by example by mentoring, developing, and supporting junior team members, helping them thrive and grow.
- Prepare financial statements, handle tax returns for all entity types.
- Tax returns for companies, trusts, individuals and sole traders.
- FBT returns, BAS/IAS returns, Cash flow budget forecasts and DIV 7a.
- Provide business advisory services, focusing on SME tax compliance.
- Liaise with the ATO, ensuring clients get great support every step of the way.
- Ideally 3 - 5 years experience as an Accountant.
- Previous Public Practice experience.
- Ideally have completed CA or CPA or have a couple of subjects left.
- Enjoys mentoring some junior accountants.
- Bring a client-first mindset and a flexible, can-do approach.
- A natural problem solver who thrives on challenges.
- Skilled at preparing financial statements and tax returns across the board.
- With your sharp eye for detail and high standards, you consistently wow clients with your expertise and commitment.
