The Support People is a leading registered NDIS provider in regional Victoria, creating an inclusive world where people with disability live the life of their choosing with our support. The Senior Client Service Officer is a key support role for the delivery of our NDIS Participant services. The NDIS Senior Client Service Officer plays an integral part in ensuring our participants receive an exceptional experience.
You Will:
- Provide strong and clear leadership to the Client Services workforce.
- Form effective working relationships with NDIS Support Coordinators.
- Oversee calculation, preparation, and management of Service Agreements for clients.
- Build and maintain client relationships.
- Oversee the NDIS Participant intake process.
- Provide ongoing client care/case management.
- Provide timely solutions to participant queries and complaints working closely with the General Manager
- Billable hours is time spend supporting clients 1:1 or in a group setting regularly, this enables us to identify their support needs and touch base regularly to gain feedback on our services and achievement of their goals.
- By doing regularly supporting our clients we are able to ensure we are meeting their support needs and ensuring the highest quality of service from TSP
What you will need:
- Exceptional leadership ability and demonstrated experience in leading teams. This includes:

- Admitting and owning mistakes, then learning, correcting, and improving each time.
- Instilling our values within the workforce.
- A relevant qualification in community services, welfare support, disability support or social work.
- Ability to work independently with a capacity for continuous learning.
- Case management experience.
- Knowledge of the NDIS.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Great time management skills and the ability to prioritise your workload.
- Good knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and database applications.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience with management of staff
- Available for on-call during weekends.
Screening and external authorisation requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance
- Working With Children Check clearance
- Completion of NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’, and provision of a copy of the certificate of completion.
- Completion of NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission " New Worker NDIS Induction Module ", and provision of a copy of the certificate of completion.
- Drivers & own vehicle (registered and insured) for transporting clients.
- First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003).
