Tasks & responsibilities
- Process Accounts Receivable transactions and Collection Calls
- Manage obligations to suppliers, customers and third-party vendors
- Communicate effectively with service providers, suppliers and overseas partners
- Prepare and process invoices
- Support as required in the management of end to end Accounts Payable
- Provide accounts and clerical support to the accounting team
- Support with end of month closures
- Prepare and provide reports to management
Qualifications & experience
- Previous experience in an accounts position
- Previous experience in Accounts Receivable
- Previous Experience in the Freight Industry is highly desired
- Daily tasks will be undertaken within the industry specific software Cargowise, experience with this software is desired but not required
- The ability to multi-task and prioritise whilst building positive internal and external relationships
- Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software Quickbooks preferred
- High Attention to detail and well organised
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team
