Learning Leader Mathematics & Numeracy | POL 3

1 year leadership tenure with the potential to reapply (ongoing teaching role)
Learning Leaders are responsible for developing, documenting, and implementing the Mathematics curriculum across years 7-12 in line with VCAA requirements fostering continuous improvements in pedagogy, assessment practises whilst supporting staff in developing successful teaching strategies across all year levels.
ABOUT YOU
- Committed to the values and ethos of Catholic education.
- Successful teaching experience with a demonstrated capacity to initiate improvements in teaching, learning, and classroom practice.
- Postgraduate study in a relevant field or intentions for future study.
- Ability to foster and develop appropriate relationships with staff, students, parents, and the wider community.
- Strong collaborative and teamwork skills within a school environment.
- Effective planning and resource management abilities to support the education programs of the school.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Organizational and administrative proficiency, with the capacity to handle changing priorities, deadlines, and pressure.
- Dedication to ongoing professional learning and a spirit of generosity.
- Valid VIT Registration.
