Description of the job
This role is a critical back fill due to a secondment and will play a key part in uplifting internal committee governance and strengthening the internal controls environment.
You'll work closely with the Executive Leadership Team committee chairs, and the Business Assurance Team to review, enhance, and embed governance processes across the organisation

Description
- Lead the uplift of committee governance structures and processes.
- Provide expert advice on internal controls, including design, documentation, and testing.
- Review and improve sub-committee frameworks
- Collaborate with executive stakeholders
- Support governance reporting
- Oversee and support two direct reports
Profile
A successful Governance and Internal Controls Policy Officer should have:
- Relevant qualifications in public administration, policy, or related fields.
- Proven experience in governance and committee oversight with exposure to internal audit.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, particularly with senior leadership.
