We are seeking a dynamic and innovative STEM teacher to engage students in Years 3–8 with hands-on learning, inquiry-based projects, and real-world problem solving across both our Junior Years and middle school years. About The Role
Full time, permanent position commencing Term 1, 2026. We’re looking for a passionate and forward-thinking Junior and Middle School Innovation and STEM Teacher to deliver dynamic, curriculum-aligned lessons that ignite curiosity and foster critical thinking. You’ll embed digital technologies, coding, robotics, and design thinking into your teaching practice, collaborate on interdisciplinary projects, and actively contribute to whole-school STEM initiatives. The role also includes contributing to the design and development of new STEM courses and learning experiences, aligned with curriculum goals and student interests. A solid understanding of curriculum content, creative teaching approaches, and the ability to personalise learning for diverse student needs are essential.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education with a STEM-related major (e.g., Science, Mathematics, Technology, Engineering).
- Current teaching registration (e.g., VIT for Victoria).
- Experience teaching in junior or middle school settings preferred.
- Familiarity with Australian Curriculum or IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) is an advantage.
- Additional certifications in coding, robotics, or digital technologies are desirable.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies such as 3D printing and laser cutting is highly regarded. Experience or knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) is desirable, though not required.
Our teachers are expected to participate in and support our commitment to our students to ensure they have a well-rounded school experience encompassing curriculum, co-curricular and pastoral care in addition to participating in our sporting program through coaching and managing sport teams.
